AAP Policy Privacy Statement
AAP Policy is committed to protecting your privacy online. Our policies on collecting, securing, and sharing personal information are explained below.
Collection of Personal Information
You do not have to identify yourself to use AAP Policy. However, to sign up for e-mail alerts, you will be asked to provide us your e-mail address. To send a question to Feedback, you will provide your name, e-mail address, and a subject.
Storage and Use of Personal Information
The name, e-mail address, and subject we collect for Feedback is not stored in a database. An archival list of messages is kept. We do not sell, rent, or share e-mail addresses.
Use of Cookies
Our access control system requires that your browser accept a temporary cookie. The cookie, which is a small text file sent by our Web server, is used to determine your login status while on AAP Publications sites. If you generally do not want to accept cookies and find it inconvenient to change your browser settings to access AAP Policy, you can install cookie management software, which allows you to accept cookies only from specified sites. For more information on cookies, please consult your browser's help index.
Security
We make every effort to protect the information you provide us. In order to send Feedback, you must answer a question meant to avoid spam.
