Two errors occurred in the AAP policy statement "Distinguishing Sudden Infant Death Syndrome From Child Abuse Fatalities" that appeared in the February 2001 issue of Pediatrics. On page 440, in the first bulleted recommendation, reference 57 should be 61; and in the last bulleted recommendation, reference 49 should be 53.
